Celebrity Cabinet

Sky News has released the results of their poll today on which celebrities you’d like to see in the Cabinet. Surprisingly, Sir David Attenborough topped the list as Prime Minister, with Jamie Oliver nestling in as Health Secretary. 2,226 responded, and the winners are:

A few problems with this cabinet.

Can you really imagine, say, Jo Brand working cooperatively with the likes of Jeremy Clarkson? Both of which probably have nothing but distain for the other (although I suppose it's not the first time that two members of the same government hate eachother) and are at completely opposite ends of the political spectrum.

And since when did anyone as attractive as Catherine Zeta-Jones rear their gorgeous head in the world of politics?

And Carol Vorderman, fair play to her, but just because she can do sums in her head quickly and does all those commercials for debt busting loans doesn’t maker her qualified to be Chancellor

What if she would like to consolidate all of her loans into one easy, monthly payment?

There might even be some left over for the kids or a nice holiday.

hi all and happy new year. Jeremy Clarkson for PM would be interesting but at least we'd see a reduction in fuel taxation.
